ADOPT A CHILD!!
We are starting a new project that provides birthday presents to children that live in a local shelter.
If you are interested, sponsor a child from the list below, double check via e-mail to see if that child is still available, then buy an age appropriate present and drop it off at the shelter!

Project adopt a family-Happy Holidays 2009 was a great success!!!!
Great job! Thank you for your support.
Thanks to all of the individuals/families who adopted the 10 families that currently live in a shelter located in the city of Ventura.
Project "Adopt-a-Family" gives people the chance to adopt a families that are living in a shelter. What was expected: You'll receive the gender/ages of your family. You'll buy/wrap presents for that particular family and on Christmas Eve, each family will receive a box with the presents and/or food that you purchased.
Last year, thanks to the generosity and support of so many kind souls last year, PROJECT FOOD BASKET 2008 was a overwhelming success! We even made the paper. Click on the following link to see article:

With all the donations received last year, we were able to adopt 18 families that consist of 18 adults and 41 children. Thanks to everyone, the families were given toys, books, stuffed animals, blankets, candy and food.
We were also able to pay to have one of the families have their natural gas turned back on after three months without service.
Thanks to all the contributions, we were able to provide 900 dinner rolls to the One city Thanksgiving dinner located at the Knights of Columbus hall.
